This Privacy Policy explains how Locksmith Emergency LLC d.b.a. Alex Locksmith (“Alex Locksmith”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you visit alexlocksmithfl.com, call us, or send us a text message. We are a local locksmith business serving Miami, Florida and surrounding areas.

Information we collect

• When you call or text us: your phone number and the details you choose to share with us, such as your name, the service address, and a description of the job.
• When you use the website chat or request form: your name, phone number, the messages you send, and any photos or files you choose to attach (see “Website chat” below).
• When you visit our website: this website does not have accounts or sign-up forms. Like most websites, it automatically receives standard technical information (such as browser type, device type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from your IP address) through our hosting provider and the advertising tools described below.

Website chat

Our website has a chat window and, when the chat is offline, a short request form. When you use them we collect your name, phone number, and the messages you send, plus the page you were on and the time. We use this information only to respond to your request, including by calling or texting you if you agreed to that. Chat messages and requests are stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and are delivered to us through the Telegram messaging app. If you attach photos or files (for example, a picture of a lock or a PDF), they are forwarded directly to us through Telegram together with your message and are not stored on this website; only the file names are kept with your chat record. Your name, phone number, and request (including the names of any attached files) are also saved in our own customer management system so we can follow up. Your browser keeps a random chat ID in local storage so your conversation can continue if you reload the page. Chat records stored with Cloudflare are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Cookies and Google Ads

We use the Google Ads tag (Google’s gtag.js) on this website to measure how our online ads perform — for example, whether a visit from an ad led to a call — and, where enabled, to show our ads to people who have visited our website. Google may set or read cookies or use similar technologies in your browser for these purposes.

Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser (such as _ga and _ga_*). Our website is hosted on Cloudflare, and we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service, to count page views and measure page performance. Cloudflare adds its analytics script (static.cloudflareinsights.com/beacon.min.js) to our pages. It does not use cookies or local storage and does not track you across other websites. It collects information such as the page you visited, the referring site, your browser and device type, and your country (derived from your IP address); Cloudflare does not use your IP address to identify or fingerprint you. The photo gallery on our home page loads recent posts and images from our Instagram account through Behold (behold.so), so your browser connects to Behold's servers when it shows those images.

Fonts and the site’s own photos are served from our own hosting provider; apart from the Google tag (Google Ads and Google Analytics), the Cloudflare Web Analytics script, and the Instagram gallery feed described above, the website does not load third-party scripts or content.

How we use information

• To respond to your call or message, give you a quote, schedule and perform the service you request, and follow up about that service.
• To keep basic business records, such as invoices and job records.
• To understand how people find our business and to improve our website and advertising.

Text messages

If you text us, we will use your number to reply to you about your request and the service we provide. We do not use your number to send marketing text messages unless you have agreed to receive them. You can ask us to stop texting you at any time by replying STOP or by telling us. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only when needed to provide our services (for example, with our phone, hosting, or payment providers), when required by law, or to protect our rights and safety.

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we reasonably need it for the purposes described above, including to meet tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.

Children’s privacy

Our services and this website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
